What Apps Are Included in Microsoft 365? A Complete List

Microsoft 365 includes a large number of applications.
In my experience most people do not use all of them. In everyday work.
The apps most commonly used are Word, Excel, Teams, and OneDrive.
Below are a list of Microsoft 365 applications and a short explanation of what they do.
You may find that some of these tools are useful once you become familiar with them.
After all, you are already paying for them, and some of them might help you save some time.
I will keep the explanation's simple so that it is accessible to the biggest amount of people.
Microsoft Word
Microsoft word is like the typewriter in Microsoft 365 here you can write documents check spelling and even collaborate on the same document with others.
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet application here you can store data do calculations and build financial reports.
Microsoft Power point
Microsoft power point is used to create presentations this is great if you need to give a talk to your team or class.
A presentation is made up of slides that you can even embed video into.
Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft outlook is where you send emails you can also manage your calendar and contacts.
I use it every day at work to schedule my meetings
Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is where you can hold meetings share documents and collaborate.
We use it every day to consult with clients and hold meetings no matter where our team is they can always attend.
Microsoft Share Point
Microsoft Share Point is where you can store all your company documents. You can create team websites or your company intranet where you can host your company policies for HR etc.
At my company we use Share Point to host client documents each client has their own folder
Microsoft One Drive
Microsoft One Drive is your personal cloud storage.
It is your cloud hard drive it synchronizes with the hard drive on your computer.
if you go to any other computer in the world and sign in you can download any document that has been saved to One Drive.
Microsoft Loop
Microsoft One Note
Microsoft one note is a digital notebook you can use it during meeting or class to take notes. I personally use it to write my daily notes and store details about jobs that I do.
Microsoft To Do
Microsoft To Do is an app that is used to write lists I personally use it at work to organize the jobs that I do every day.
Microsoft Planner
Microsoft Forms
Microsoft forms are used to create Forms and quizzes for students and employees you can collect answers and analyze the data.
Microsoft Power Automate
With power automate you can send emails automatically connect different services together and receive notifications automatically.
Microsoft Power Apps
Microsoft power apps is software that can be used to create apps for example an app that is used to track inventory.
I have not used this application yet.
Microsoft Power BI
Microsoft Power BI is a tool for analyzing data and creating interactive reports I currently have no use for this at the moment
Microsoft Stream
Microsoft stream is used for uploading and sharing videos within an organization such as presentations. I currently have no use for this app at present
Microsoft Clip Champ
Microsoft clip champ is software that is used for creating and editing software I currently have no use for this software as I don't create videos as part of my job
Microsoft Lists
Microsoft lists is an app that is used for tracking tasks or inventory we currently use other software for monitoring inventory.
Microsoft Bookings
Microsoft Bookings is a tool for managing appointments and bookings I currently do not use this software as I do not make bookings as part of my job.
Microsoft Viva
Microsoft viva gives insight into employee wellbeing and work patterns as well as tracking learning.
